RANCHI: The incident has unfolded late last night at Jagannath temple Ranchi, where the story is built the guard has been murdered. The guard has been identified as Birsa Munda, age 65. As soon as the information reached the police, Ranchi SSP Rakesh Ranjan arrived at the scene and immediately took charge of the investigation.

According to initial reports, the attackers not only killed the guard but also looted the cash from the temple’s donation box. This has led police to investigate the case from both murder and robbery angles. Police officials reached the spot soon after the incident police began a detailed investigation.

After investigating police suspect that the crime may have been carried out by a single person. At that time, the temple was locked from inside.
